Junk jazz trio schroothoop is excited to announce the release of their new single Cheval Orange, available on February 3. The track is a preview of the band's upcoming album MACADAM, set to be released on April 7 via Sdban Ultra.

MACADAM is a collection of semi-improvised songs that explores the vast sounds of discarded objects found on the streets of Brussels. The band turns wooden crates into guitars and lyres, and scrap metal into thumb pianos, cimbaloms, and percussion bells, creating a unique and compelling sound.

Cheval Orange, is a moody and infectious track about Don Quichote's quest to the recycling park. The track opens with a violin, paving the way for a loyal horse galloping through the city, dodging scrap metal along the way, at a trippy 5/5 pace. The song is a tribute to the resilience and determination.
