Following the release of 'Honey' in April and last month's 'Broke My Heart', Dan Snaith aka Caribou has today returned with the video for new single 'Volume'. The track is based on M|A|R|R|S' 1987 UK number one and global hit 'Pump Up The Volume', a track forever cemented into the history of UK dance music.
Snaith explains more on the single and offers a peak behind the curtain on its
creation here:
"'Pump up the Volume' was the first time in my life I heard electronic music - sitting in front of the family stereo system listening to the top 40 countdown on the radio when i was a kid. it completely blew my mind - it sounded like something from another world. it's stuck with me ever since - i always wanted to rework it in some way. i didn't consciously think about it when i started working on my track but i think there's something really special about having gone right back to the very beginning in making this."

Following a rapturous reception to recent single “Broke My Heart,” Snaith also shared an club version of the track “Broke My Heart (Champion Remix” - featured in the Charli XCX PARTYGIRL Ibiza Boiler Room set - that fans have been clamoring for since the start of the year, as well as “Broke My Heart (Harry Hayes Remix)” which began as a fan-edit sent via Instagram by the rising star and has now taken on a life of its own. Snaith also recently shared his Caribou remix of Ahadadream's summer smash “TAKA.”
