Avec une carrière bien remplie, l’acteur, guitariste et surtout fondateur du groupe The Frames, Glen Hansard a annoncé la sortie prochaine de son nouvel album en solo.

Disponible dès le 18 juin chez Anti-Records, "Rhythm and Repose" a été enregistré par Patrick Dillett (David Byrne, Arto Lindsay, Laurie Anderson) et produit par Thomas Bartlett (Doveman, The National, Antony and the Johnsons) avec la participation de nombreux musiciens.

Après avoir été acteur dans  The Commitments et dans le film Once en 2006, l’Irlandais marque un tournant dans sa carrière avec la sortie de nouveau projet en solo.
