Autogramm, synth-driven power-poppers from Seattle, Chicago and Vancouver, have just released their latest single on Dirt Cult Records and Germany’s Goodwill Records. The vinyl seven-inch single features the band’s newest composition “Randy” and is backed with the song “Jenny’s In A Sleep World” by Toronto’s punk legends The Diodes. Originally released in 1979, The Diodes enthusiastically endorsed the synthed-up cover version of the song. The new single follows Autogramm’s tradition of crafting sing-along new wave anthems, but this time with a humorous twist. “Randy” was originally slated to be released as part of their latest album Music That Humans Can Play, but was omitted as the subject of the lyrics became inaccurate. Being a self described “cat band” they naturally - after some deliberation - decided to re-record the vocals and dedicate the content of the lyrics to their drummer’s cat, Randy.

Drummer The Silo explains the lyrics he penned for the song. "It's a letter to a good friend, in need of a little confidence push. Everyone needs an ego boost sometimes. Even if they’re a cat.” Listeners will delight in lines like “If you think you wanna jump up on that countertop, well baby you’ve got the tools. The world’s looking for a pretty cool dude, and maybe that dude is you.” “Randy” will remind listeners of DEVO, with tick-tack rhythms, motorik basslines and a quirky bounce that subtly points to influences like The Dead Milkmen and The Cars. Guitarist Lars Von Seattle aptly describes the new release as, “Nuevo juevo punk pop for allergic feline lovers. Blazing guitars, squiggly synths, bumping bass, and deftly thrashing drums collide in a spirit of uplift for the irrepressible Randy in all of us”. The new Autogramm single comes in conjunction with the announcement of their Spanish tour dates this March.

Autogramm has a long standing connection to the art, punk, and skateboarding communities world-wide. Since their inception, Autogramm has performed throughout Canada, Mexico, the US, the UK, and Europe in notable venues such as London’s Lexington, Berlin’s Wild At Heart, and San Francisco’s Bottom of the Hill. Their last album No Rules climbed to #1 on the Earshot campus charts, and charted for five months at college radio in both the US and Canada. The new album has already seen support at WFMU NYC, Underground Garage NYC, The Rock 94.9 Toronto, KEXP Seattle, X92.9 Calgary and XRAY FM Portland. The band members are: Jiffy Marx of Brooklyn’s Hard Drugs, Vancouver’s Night Court, and Blood Meridian; CC Voltage of Berlin’s Dysnea Boys, London’s Loyalties, and Vancouver’s Black Halos and Spitfires; Lars Von Seattle of Bread & Butter and The Catheters; The Silo of Vancouver’s Black Mountain, Lightning Dust, Destroyer and more recently, Chicago’s Spun Out. Music That Humans Can Play was recorded in Vancouver BC during the heatwave of August 2022. Somehow, between visits to the beach, barbecues, and a newborn baby, the band laid down ten tracks at two sweaty studios on Vancouver’s Eastside. The result is a blissfully cool album with music that will appeal to all listeners, from record store snobs, garage rock slobs, and even synth-pop heartthrobs!

In aanloop naar Internationale Vrouwendag delen we graag dit geweldige nieuws: op 13 april 2026 laat ZAZ opnieuw haar ongeëvenaarde energie en warme stem los op het publiek in Vorst Nationaal.
België omarmt ZAZ - en zij hen
Met haar aanstekelijke mix van chanson, jazz en pop heeft Isabelle Geffroy, beter bekend als ZAZ, zich diep genesteld in de harten van de Belgische fans. Haar aankomende tournee, die in oktober 2025 van start gaat, brengt haar al drie keer naar België (Antwerpen, Brussel en Luik), waar de tickets razendsnel de deur uitgingen.

Maar ZAZ zou ZAZ niet zijn als ze haar fans geen extra kans gaf om deel uit te maken van haar muzikale reis. Voor wie simpelweg geen genoeg krijgt van haar sprankelende podiumprésence en oprechte emoties, is er goed nieuws: op 13 april 2026 staat ZAZ opnieuw in Vorst Nationaal!

A first cut from the 10th album by Perverted (by desire), due May 16th and titled Arobaini (40 in Swahili), the Belgian band that was formed in 1984 in Hesbaya, Belgium, by 3 teenagers trying to kill drairy Sunday afternoons on the countryside.
Users and Abusers is a social commentary of these times where people have access to worldwide information but struggle with ‘computing’ that information load.

In 2025, HEISA embarks on a new chapter with the release of their third album. This album showcases an evolution in their sound, keeping the bombastic drums, droning guitars, and  dynamic vocals, but pushing further into melody and experimentation.

Hastings trio HotWax today celebrate the release of their debut album ‘Hot Shock’, out now via Marathon Artists. The band are mid-way through a string of instore dates to celebrate the record’s release including a hometown at Resident Brighton tonight and Rough Trade East next week, as ‘Hot Shock’ is named as Rough Trade’s album of the month. ‘Hot Shock’ is available now in three distinct coloured vinyl editions, each inspired by the band members’ hair (‘The Tallulah’ in black with a blonde stripe, ‘The Alfie’ in gold and a Rough Trade exclusive ‘The Lola' in bright orange). Following their instores, the band will continue on the road across the UK and Europe, visiting as many new towns and cities as possible - full live dates below. T

After being crowned as the UK’s most hotly-tipped independent band of 2024 [Record of the Day], HotWax’s debut album follows the release of two critically acclaimed 2023 EPs that launched the touring Hastings trio to ever bigger stages, playing over 200 blistering live shows in the past 18 months alone including Reading + Leeds, Mad Cool, All Points East, Download, support tours with Royal Blood, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Deap Vally and more. It’s the band’s incredible stagecraft and seemingly limitless energy that caught the attention of producer Catherine Marks (Boygenius, Wolf Alice) at Third Man Records’ Blue Basement last summer; “It was the sweatiest gig we have ever done – it was really, really packed,” explains Tallulah “Afterwards, Catherine came up to us and said, ‘Oh my god, I need to record your album with you. I want it to sound like the energy in this room. It needs to feel like a party.’”

The band went on to build an all-female team to record ‘Hot Shock’, with Marks co-producing alongside Steph Marziano (Picture Parlour, Cassandra Jenkins), bringing a crowd of the band’s friends into London’s legendary RAK Studios to record a live runthrough of the new record – perfectly capturing the distinct, dizzying energy of a HotWax gig. While touring the US, the band also recorded with Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa at her studio in Joshua Tree.

The result is an album made to be played to a crowd, loud and with abandon. But there’s also a beating pulse of vulnerability underscoring ‘Hot Shock’, written throughout the whirlwind of life on the road. “Touring and constantly living in the moment can be chaotic. But there’s also a feeling of knowing that the more life experience we gain, the more fearless we become” explains bassist Lola Sam. Although Hot Shock may traverse the unsettling terrain that comes with entering young adulthood, there’s also a sense of playful abandon that is never far behind. Childhood friends Sim-Savage and Sam have been writing together since they were 12, before the latter met drummer Alfie Sayers at music college five years later.

‘A Thousand Times’ EP lead single ‘Treasure’ reached the BBC Radio 6 Music B-List as well as a ‘Next Wave’ on BBC Radio 1, with the two EPs earning widespread support from The Sunday Times, The Independent, NME, Dork, DIY, Clash and many more. Tallulah, Lola & Alfie are ripping up the template and ripping up stages across the UK. Having only recently left school, their rarified live energy and sound has already won the support of Beck, Karen O, Courtney Love, Pete Doherty, Wolf Alice, Elton John, Zane Lowe and more.

Despite having been launched onto festival mainstages while still in their teens, HotWax are here for the long ride and show no signs of slowing down. In fact, ‘Hot Shock’ is only the beginning.
