Le 9 mars 2018, paraîtra un nouvel opus posthume de Jimi Hendrix. Intitulé “Both Sides Of The Sky », il réunira 13 enregistrements studio réalisés entre 1968 et 1970, dont dix ne sont jamais sortis auparavant.
La plupart des titres ont été immortalisés par The Band of Gypsys, soit Jimi à la guitare et au chant, Billy Cox à la basse et Buddy Miles aux drums. L’elpee proposera également des pistes, concoctées par le Jimi Hendrix Experience, mais également des titres auxquels ont notamment participé Stephen Stills, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Winter et Buddy Miles…
