Strangelove - The Depeche Mode Experience staat bekend om hun obsessie voor detail. Van tijdseigen kostuums en indrukwekkende podiumopstellingen tot visuals die je rechtstreeks terugvoeren naar de jaren '80. Elk aspect van de show is tot in de puntjes uitgewerkt. De band wordt gefront door Leo Luganskiy, wiens stem en uitstraling de essentie van Dave Gahan feilloos weet te vatten, en bestaat uit ervaren muzikanten en producers. De bandleden werkten samen met iconen zoals The Cure, David Bowie en leden van Depeche Mode zelf.

Tijdens deze tour neemt Strangelove luisteraars mee op een reis langs de belangrijkste mijlpalen uit de 46-jarige carrière van Depeche Mode. Centraal staat 'Black Celebration' (1986), een van de meest invloedrijke platen in de synthpop en alternatieve muziek. Met zijn industriële klanken en introspectieve teksten definieerde het album de eighties. Strangelove brengt een nauwkeurig samengestelde setlist, met klassiekers, B-sides, Depeche Mode's grootste hits en fan-favorites. Na het grote succes van 'Flamingo' in Italië start Luca Ravenna dit najaar met een nieuwe internationale tournee. In deze voorstelling, die volledig in het Italiaans wordt gespeeld, zet de comedian zijn ironische verkenning van de hedendaagse wereld voort. Comedian, scenarist en acteur, Luca Ravenna wordt vaak genoemd als een van de artiesten die de stand up comedy in Italië hebben gemoderniseerd. Hij begon zijn carrière als auteur en scenarist, onder meer bij het komische collectief The Pills, waarvoor hij talloze sketches schreef die op YouTube werden uitgezonden. Daarnaast was hij mede-auteur van de film 'The Pills – Sempre meglio che lavorare'. In 2014 besloot hij zich volledig toe te leggen op stand up. Al snel onderscheidde hij zich door een scherpe observatiehumor, een ironische en generatiegebonden toon en voorstellingen waarin politiek, maatschappij, sport en het dagelijks leven op intelligente wijze samenkomen. Naast zijn podiumwerk is Luca Ravenna samen met Edoardo Ferrario co host van de podcast 'Cachemire – Un podcast morbidissimo', die is uitgegroeid tot een vaste waarde op YouTube.

Zijn nieuwe internationale tournee betekent een langverwachte terugkeer naar het buitenland, na het succes van zijn eerdere voorstellingen buiten Italië, die duizenden toeschouwers aantrokken en zijn steeds groeiende bekendheid buiten de Italiaanse grenzen bevestigen. Even voorstellen – Suecide High – single ‘feel the flames’

Suecide High is een kwartet uit Bergen dat muzikaal balanceert tussen de rock-'n-rolltraditie van de jaren 70 en de rauwe Amerikaanse stonerrock.  Onder leiding van Renaud Mayeur, voormalig frontman van Hulk (ook Triggerfinger en Dario Mars and the Guillotines), die na een decennium filmmuziek te hebben gecomponeerd terugkeert naar zijn eerste liefde, rock’n’roll.

Buiten Renaud bestaat Suecide High uit Charly Cornez (Criminal Animal, The Sidz) op drums, Stéphane Panozzo (Ozvald, Nehal) op gitaar en Fabrice Giacinto (Romano Nervoso op bas).

Hun eerste single, "Feel the Flames", vat perfect de energie die de band op het podium loslaat (ergens tussen Kyuss, Black Flag en punkrock uit de jaren 70) maar bevat bittere teksten die onze onmacht om positief te blijven in een chaotische en vervreemdende wereld beschrijven.          Suecide High levert een rauw, koortsachtig en natuurlijk  rockgeluid.

UK indie-rock duo Blood Red Shoes return with new tour dates and the single 'Screams', their first new music since 2023. The Brighton band consisting of Laura-Mary Carter (guitar, vocals) and Steven Ansell (drums, vocals) celebrated their 20years of activity with 20 Years Of Blood Red Shoes: Live In Paris and four event concerts in 2024, after which Laura-Mary focussed on her solo endeavours including a new studio album and a tour as support for QOTSA.

Now they are ready to fully focus on each other's musical company again. In their own words:
"When you're just two people in a band for over two decades, you develop psychic powers. You understand each other in a way that nobody else can access. When we play live we never count in songs "1,2,3,4", we just lock eyes and we know when to start the song together. Writing songs is the same: there is a feeling, a look in the eye, an unspoken understanding that tells us when a song is right or wrong. We don't discuss it, or plan it, or work with concepts. We just make and let our shared intuition guide us."

That's the place where this song Screams, their first new music since 2023, was born. From the strange and deep connection between two people who have been doing this so long they don't know how to work any other way, people out on their own island who are so at ease with each other they can be truly honest and unguarded and expressive. Some people say you should get out of your comfort zone. For Laura-Mary and Steven its' the exact opposite: it's a lot easier to simply be yourself, which is something that is valued a lot in Blood Red Shoes.

"Screams is a reflective, messy, unpretentious rock n roll song, a reflection of who we are right now, 22 years into our partnership, inspired by an old photo, and by our own history together. We wanted it to feel like a home video we're sharing with the world and it was made entirely by us, written, recorded, engineered, mixed - nobody else was involved at any stage. Just us, in our own studio, in our own world, being ourselves."

With the new single also comes a new tour that will take them all across the EU and the UK in October 2026 under the motto "The shows will be as loud as your country's laws allow us to be!"

Belfast trio KNEECAP have today shared the video for their latest single, FENIAN, the title-track from their forthcoming new album, to be released on May 1 via Heavenly Recordings.

The anthemic track already feels like it's been here for an entire era – a raucous party tune that will no doubt birth some of the biggest festival singalong chants of the summer, this is a brilliant, invigorating, unapologetic declaration of identity and community. Tiochfaidh ár lá - somebody sample that.

Talking about the track, KNEECAP said: "An Anthem to embrace our Fenian past, and to cure our colonial hangover by reconnecting the warriors of Irish folklore with the Fenian c*nts from the North of Ireland.

The track is accompanied by a brilliantly surreal video shot in and around West Belfast which sees DJ Provai's now ubiquitous tricolour balaclava very much front and centre.. The video was directed by Thomas James, who added: "For me, this track is about a reclaiming of identity. Not only of the word, but for people too.  Which is what our film is. A trippy whirlwind through people and places who embody the spirit of the boys and the song. Of seeing the word Fenian through a new lens. It was a blast. It was chaos. It was a fever dream of running around Ireland convincing people to pop a bally on and do something mental.  Good times had by all.

Produced by Dan Carey, the new album also features previous singles Smugglers & Scholars, recently featured as part of the regular COLORSxSTUDIOS shows, and Liars Tale.

From the rich tradition of expansive art-rock that has long flowed out of mainland Europe, the much-loved and critically acclaimed Ghinzu today continue their return with the release of their second single, Snow White, taken from their forthcoming fourth studio album and first in 17 years (!), W.O.W.A, due for release via Play It Again Sam on May 29th, 2026.

Snow White is a triptych about addiction, using three interwoven stories. Frontman John Descamps explains, "The first tackles addiction to computer screens and social media. The second story contrasts this with drug addiction. And the third focuses on Snow White – you're poisoned with an apple and wake up with love. But it's more about flashes, just an image in your head. The three of them play together in one song."

A song that revels in creative freedom, Snow White refuses to sit in one place. "Indie rock, by definition, involves manipulating references. And that means you can take folk, you can take punk, and you can take electronic, and everything comes together through a type of raw freedom. And I think this is the music we do."

From selling more than 100,000 copies of their breakthrough second album Blow across Europe, to sharing stages with the likes of Muse, Placebo and Iggy & The Stooges, and seeing their music featured on the soundtrack of the global hit film 'Taken', Ghinzu have long stood as one of Belgium's most iconic rock exports.

The forthcoming record W.O.W.A, has been a work in progress for some time, with Ghinzu having written almost 90 fully fledged ideas for their new album, before whittling this down to the final tracklisting. "We had all these hard drives everywhere," recalls Descamps. "We wanted to gather 10 tracks together to really represent all those years of condensed work."

The results take Ghinzu back to basics, before blasting them into uncharted territories. Their formative influences - the energy and expression of Queen; the raucous grunge noise of Nirvana and The Melvins – remain, alongside their passion for visual art. Name-checking the painters Gerhard Richter and Francis Bacon as points of inspiration, they stepped back from their perfectionist leanings to embrace music at its most raw and powerful.

Sessions took place at a multitude of studios. Ghinzu worked in their native Belgium and across the Atlantic in New York; they secluded themselves in the countryside, and worked at studios overlooking the sea. "Our plan was to drift away, creating 'evolutive songs' that could change from one week to another, or simply disappear to maybe reappear. Doubts have less room within such space, as there is nothing to finish. What is left are the survivors of that period, the wild ones who got captured."

From first to last, these are stories built by older musicians, people with experience and maturity. "It's about telling very specific stories in a way that is universal," he says. "There's an almost confrontational aspect with regards to age. We're developing an intergenerational feel in bringing these stories out of specific narratives and pushing them into different spaces."

De Brits-Cyprische Artemas Diamandis brengt pas sinds 2020 muziek uit, maar wist op korte tijd een indrukwekkend palmares op te bouwen. Met maandelijks vijftien miljoen luisteraars, toegankelijke songwriting en een herkenbare, moody sound onderscheidt hij zich moeiteloos van de massa. In 2024 verscheen zijn eerste mixtape 'Pretty', met de hit "if u think i'm pretty". De echte grote doorbraak kwam echter met opvolger 'Yustyna' en de monsterhit "i like the way you kiss me". Dat nummer groeide uit tot een wereldwijd TikTok-fenomeen, werd platgedraaid door de radio en verzamelde miljoenen streams. Die hits schrijft en produceert Artemas zelf. Wat begon als een project van een bedroom-producer, is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een professionele studiowerking. Ook achter de schermen is hij een veelgevraagd talent. Zo werkte hij al samen met Måneskin en Tyler Cole en schreef hij onlangs nog "Like Animals" voor de K-pop-iconen van BTS.

Op 27 maart verscheen zijn vierde mixtape 'getting up to no good'. Fans kregen met singles "psychokiller" en "myself" al een voorsmaakje van het nieuw materiaal. LANDROVERS is een nieuw, grensverleggend muzikaal uitwisselingsproject, opgezet door
twee ervaren muziekhuizen aan weerszijden van de Nederlands-Belgische grens.
Muziekclub N9 en De Spot (Middelburg) slaan twee jaar lang de handen in elkaar om samen
en grensoverschrijdend acht concertavonden op poten te zetten. Zowel Nederlandse als
Belgische bands, jong bloed en gevestigd muzikaal talent worden tijdelijk weggeroofd uit hun
land van oorsprong, om er vervolgens over de landsgrens voor de leeuwen te worden gegooid!
