Two Door Cinema Club celebrate the 15th anniversary of their 2010 debut album, Tourist History with the announcement of physical formats with tracks pressed on vinyl for the first time, available from the 28th November 2025 - out via [PIAS] Recordings. The band have also announced an additional 2026 live date on the 2nd August 2026 as TK Maxx presents DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle.
Hailing from Bangor and Donaghadee, Northern Ireland's Two Door Cinema Club first gained attention with their debut album Tourist History which included singles like 'What you Know', 'Something Good Can Work' and 'Undercover Martyn' mixing guitar-driven, post-punk hooks with dancey, electronic polish.
The album, first released on 1st March 2010, hit number one on the Irish chart, landed on the BBC Sound of 2010 Poll and went on to be a globally lauded debut record, taking them from their garage, where they wrote the album in Bangor, to the main stages of festivals around the world. This June, 'What You Know' surpassed 1billion streams on Spotify.
Discussing the reissue, the band said, "The time has come, finally! A repress of Tourist History! You can be sure that, without fail, there will be a comment on anything we post on social media asking when a repress will happen. The wait is over and it's bigger and better than the original. We've packaged together so many goodies, hidden gems and iconic memorabilia from the era to try and capture the sheer fun of three 20 somethings having the time of their lives, making music, playing shows and living the dream."
The anniversary offerings include a repress of Tourist History on classic black vinyl, as well as a striking gatefold double gold vinyl edition featuring a curated collection of official remixes and B-sides from the Tourist History era—available on vinyl for the very first time. For collectors, a deluxe triple vinyl box set will present an expansive selection of remixes, rarities, and demos, alongside the band's Four Words To Stand On EP ,also making its vinyl debut, and an exclusive Tourist History era photo book taken by Alex Trimble. Completing the lineup, a double CD edition will include the original album plus additional remixes and alternate versions, offering fans a comprehensive celebration of Two Door Cinema Club's landmark debut.
The band recently announced 4 huge shows as part of a special Tourist History anniversary tour in 2026, with the trio taking to the stage at Live at the Marquee in Cork on the 23rd June, Fairview Park in Dublin on the 24th June (SOLD OUT), Crystal Palace Park in London on the 26th June (SOLD OUT), and TK Maxx presents DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle on the 2nd August
Speaking about the upcoming tour, the band said:
"We have incredible memories of touring around Ireland in our converted dog groomer's van, playing every pub or club that would take us, it's where Tourist History really came to life. Before anyone else, it was at home where we felt the love so it feels right to announce our exciting anniversary plans for Ireland first."

Two Door Cinema Club features singer/guitarist/programmer Alex Trimble, guitarist/singer Sam Halliday and bassist/singer Kevin Baird. Trimble and Halliday met in school, and then hooked up with Baird through mutual friends. The trio began writing in Trimble's parents garage and skipped going to university to focus on the band, fortunately, the gamble paid off – the band's self-released debut EP, Four Words to Stand On, was released in January 2009 to positive reviews and music blog buzz, which grew with the release of the EP's leading track 'Something Good Can Work'.
Following the release of Tourist History they continued to evolve, landing in the Top 2 of the UK chart with sophomore album 2012's Beacon and subsequent albums Gameshow, False Alarm and Keep on Smiling which have all landed in the top 10 of the UK charts cementing the band as a global arena band and festival headliner.
Most recently, in 2024, the band embarked on a sold out 30-date amphitheater tour of the United States with the band finishing the year in style with a sold out Australian arena tour culminating in an incredible performance at the iconic Sydney Opera house.

Delilah Bon is alles wat je niet verwacht en alles wat je nodig hebt. Ze is de stem van de generatie die genoeg heeft van de regels, die doorbreekt en het systeem uitdaagt. Haar zelfbenoemde “Brat Punk” valt frontaal aan tegen patriarchale structuren, toxische mannelijkheid en de beperkingen die vrouwen in de muziekindustrie al veel te lang opgelegd krijgen. Met haar compromisloze mix van nu-metal, riot grrrl-attitude en vurige hiphop was ze te zien in De Centrale.
Met nummers als “Dead Men Don’t Rape” — een genadeloze aanklacht tegen seksueel geweld — en “I Wish A Bitch Would”, waar vrouwelijke woede en kracht zonder enige schaamte worden gevierd, laat Delilah geen ruimte voor twijfel: haar missie is duidelijk: ruimte maken voor diegenen die jarenlang het zwijgen werd opgelegd.
Haar EP ‘Princeless Princess’ ( net uit in september 2025), zet het sprookjesboek in de fik. Geen ‘prinsessen’ die wachten op redding, maar een verhaal over zelfwaarde, rebellie en de ongekende kracht van vrouwelijke woede.
En haar liveshows? Die zijn activistisch, krachtig en feminist rage op z’n best. In Leeds werd ze geprezen als de “meesteres van passie, performance en power”.
Delilah Bon is alles wat ze ooit geleerd heeft niet te zijn, en ze laat zien dat we samen niet alleen kunnen luisteren, maar schreeuwen, vechten en winnen.

LOWEN UK
Vanuit Londen verovert Lowen de wereld met hun progressive doom, gekenmerkt door zware en melodieuze gitaartapijten, complexe songstructuren en invloeden uit traditionele Oosterse muziek. Lowen is voor zangeres Nina Saeidi een eerbetoon aan haar Iraanse roots, maar ook een statement naar haar land van afkomst waar het voor vrouwen verboden is te zingen en waar metal in de ban gedaan wordt door het religieuze regime.
Op hun laatste plaat ‘Do Not Go To War With The Demons Of Mazandaran’ (2024) verfijnt Lowen hun sound, met toevoeging van Midden-Oosterse instrumenten en ritmes. Boven alles is de stem van Saeidi een absolute showstopper. Lowen is één van de grote beloftes in de progressive metal.
NECROT Usa
Het Amerikaanse Necrot werd gevormd door bassist, zanger en songschrijver Luca Indrio en drummer Chad Gailey in 2011. Aangevuld door gitarist Sonny Reinhardt beukt het trio uit Oakland tegen de grenzen van sonische extremen.
Bekend om hun intensiteit en diverse songwriting combineert Necrot Death Metal met invloeden van punk en trash. Hun meest recente album ‘Lifeless Birth’ kwam uit in 2024.

Thra combineert dikke doom en sludgeriffs met de brutaliteit van death metal tot ‘Arizona Death Sludge’.

Graspop 2026 – van 18 juni t-m 21 juni 2026 – eerste namen
De eerste namen voor de 29ste editie van Graspop Metal Meeting zijn bekend…. Klaar om ze te ontdekken? Op donderdag 18 juni komen niemand minder dan Limp Bizkit, Megadeth en Within Temptation naar de weide van Graspop Metal Meeting! Limp Bizkit is die dag headliner op de North Stage. Op de South Stage staat Within Temptation. Ook op de North Stage die dag: Megadeth!
Dat Limp Bizkit weet hoe ze een festivalweide moeten inpakken, hoeven we jullie niet meer uit te leggen. Sporadisch brengen de nu-metaliconen nog nieuw materiaal uit, maar live brengen ze een spervuur van hits die elke weide in lichterlaaie zetten. Met Within Temptation staat er in 2026 opnieuw een van Nederlands grootste bands in het symfonische metalgenre op onze affiche. Volgend jaar bestaat de band onder leiding van Sharon den Adel 30 jaar en in die periode brachten ze acht studioalbums uit, met in 2023 hun meest recente worp ‘Bleed Out’. Na hun passage in 2022 staan ze dit jaar voor de tiende keer in Dessel!

Make love not war, het blijft een zeer actueel statement dat ook door Liliane Saint-Pierre gemaakt wordt met nieuwe single “Soldiers 2.0” die al drie weken in de Vlaamse Ultratop én de playlist van Radio 2 staat, én waarvan nu ook de video werd uitgebracht. "Soldiers 2.0."is een nieuwe, uiterst actuele song waarmee ze op een originele manier terug het refrein van haar grote hit “Soldiers of Love” citeert. Een in deze tijden uiterst noodzakelijke boodschap van vrede, liefde, verdraagzamheid, respect en tolerantie. Waarden die in deze tijden niet meer vanzelfsprekend schijnen te zijn.

Talrijke hits en honderduizenden platen verkocht. Eén van de weinige Vlaamse artiesten die het ook ver buiten landsgrenzen schopte. TJE’s nieuwe single ‘Easy’ bevestigt nog maar eens waarom het drietal — Lindy Versyck (zie ook Arsenal en Meltheads), Melvin Slabbinck (Kaat Vanstralen) en Klaas Leyssen (The Yummy Mouths) — tot de spannendste indieacts van het moment behoort. In dik twee minuten ontvouwt zich een betoverende geluidswereld van eigenzinnige elektronica, subtiele bas en percussie, en meeslepende vocals — subtiel, strak en onweerstaanbaar, tot leven gebracht door producer Pieter-Jan De Craene.

De line-up van Dynamo Metalfest wordt nóg zwaarder. We voegen vandaag 10 nieuwe namen toe, maar dat is niet alles! De dagindeling en dus ook de dagtickets staan nu online!
Toegevoegd aan de line-up: Amorphis, de Finse meesters van melodische metal die sfeer en kracht perfect weten te combineren. Bleed From Within brengt een stevige dosis moderne metalcore uit Schotland, en Soulfly, onder leiding van Max Cavalera, komen met hun kenmerkende mix van groove en pure agressie.
Ook het herrezen Kittie is erbij: rauw, fel en helemaal terug. The Cost, met de bekende drummer El Estepario Siberiano (die ene drummer met dat petje op instagram), laat horen dat techniek en energie prima samengaan. Castle Rat brengt middeleeuwse heavy metal en theatrale chaos.
Voor de thrashliefhebbers is er Insanity Alert, die altijd garant staan voor een feestje. Tailgunner haalt de klassieke heavy metal naar het nu met hun energieke liveshows. Lowen combineert zware doom met een persoonlijke en culturele lading, terwijl Cwfen een trage, beklemmende mix van shoegaze en gothic doom neerzet die je niet loslaat.
Er komen nog meer namen aan, maar één ding is nu al zeker: Dynamo Metalfest 2026 laat Eindhoven weer beven!

After the release of album Never Exhale at the start of the year, DITZ return with a 9 minute, three-part noise-rock epic new single 'Don Enzo Magic Carpet Salesman', and it marks a bold new direction for the band. Fierce, hypnotic and unpredictable, it captures their live energy in full force, and comes with additional track 'Kalimba Song'.
Both will be also be available on a limited edition 12” on 28th November via City Slang Records, with the first copies sold exclusively on their upcoming tour ahead of this date.
Vocalist C.A. Francis says of the new single, “Don Enzo began as a demo Jack Looker made after our touring wrapped early in the year. It started as one short movement, but after I added lyrics and sent it back, he returned it with five more minutes of music, creating a three-part structure. The song reflects my frustration with AI art - the first part reacting to the issue, the second written from the AI’s perspective, and the final section representing the last gasp of real art before being overwhelmed by artificial output.”
Francis adds regarding the B-Side, “Kalimba Song came from a hungover writing session at Brighton’s 17b studio with Jack and Sam Evans. The track grew out of layering random sounds while listening to Portishead and Massive Attack, with the Kalimba sample lifted from a minute of spontaneous noodling.”
Since forming in 2015 after a shared revelation at a METZ show, DITZ have toured relentlessly, writing songs on the road and refining them live before recording. Following the acclaim of their 2022 debut The Great Regression, Never Exhale saw support from and Consequence, BBC 6 Music, DORK, PASTE, Stereoboard, The Line Of Best Fit, UPSET, KEXP, NPR, Rough Trade, CREEM, DIY, Guitar World, Brooklyn Vegan, Classic Rock, and was even included in Stereogum’s Best 50 Albums of 2025 So Far.

The Damned announce the release of "Not Like Everybody Else", a deeply personal and celebratory covers album – dedicated to the memory of Brian James, the band's legendary founding guitarist, who passed away on 6th March 2025. Recorded in a blistering five days of emotion and creative fire at Revolver Studio, Los Angeles, the album finds The Damned – Dave Vanian on vocals, Captain Sensible on guitar, Rat Scabies on drums, Paul Gray on bass and joined by longtime keyboardist Monty Oxymoron – reconnecting with the raw energy that started it all. "Not Like Everybody Else" marks the first time in 40 years that Rat Scabies has returned to the studio with the band.
Kicking off with R. Dean Taylor's "There's A Ghost In My House" and moving through classics like Pink Floyd's "See Emily Play" and The Animals' "When I Was Young", the album closes with a powerful farewell: "TheLast Time" by The Rolling Stones, featuring Brian James himself, taken from his final live performance with TheDamned at Hammersmith and lovingly remixed for this release.
To celebrate the album, The Damned will play one-off covers show at Albert Hall, Manchester on 28th January 2026 performing songs from "Not Like Everybody Else" alongside fan-favourite covers that have marked their career. It will be an unforgettable night honouring Brian James and the band's shared history.
Fans who order the album through the Official Album Store starting 29th October will receive early access to release show tickets. In addition, three exclusive 7" vinyl singles featuring previously unreleased B-sides will be available.
The first single, "There's A Ghost In My House", reimagines R. Dean Taylor's classic with The Damned's unmistakable energy and dark charm. Driven by Captain Sensible's urgent guitar and Dave Vanian's atmospheric vocal delivery, the track perfectly blends Northern soul spirit and gothic rock swagger. It's both a nod to Brian James's love of raw, melodic power and a reminder of The Damned's gift for turning familiar songs into something entirely their own.
The single "There's A Ghost In My House," accompanied by a music video directed by Gilbert Trejo and filmed during the band's recent US tour – including their legendary show at the inaugural CBGBs Festival in Brooklyn, New York – will be released on 30th October.
Set to coincide with The Damned's 50th anniversary celebrations, "Not Like Everybody Else" is a heartfelt homage, and a testament to the enduring spirit of one of punk's most pioneering bands.
50 years of The Damned also means 50 years of punk, with the explosion of 1976 hitting a half century. The band jump started the revolution, releasing the first UK punk single in "New Rose" and album "Damned, Damned, Damned". Brian James wrote that debut single and was lead songwriter on the album. He left the group after therelease of their second album, "Music For Pleasure" in 1977.
The band earned an ever-expanding fan base fueled by legendary live shows, while their dark lyrics and Dave Vanian's rich baritone vocals catapulted them to the forefront of the Goth-Rock genre.
The Damned have announced a special 50th anniversary show at OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday 11th April 2026, marking five decades since the band first exploded onto the scene as one of the founders of British punk rock. The milestone celebration will also feature special guests The Loveless featuring Marc Almond, Peter Hook And The Light and The Courettes.

Met een eerste optreden in zaal De Pluim in Kalken in 1976 begon de toen 17-jarige Bart Herman aan zijn muzikale reis. Op zaterdag 17 oktober 2026 viert de ondertussen gelauwerde singer-songwriter zijn ’50 jaar muziek’ met een uniek jubileumconcert in de prachtige Koningin Elisabethzaal in Antwerpen. Bart, die met zijn onverwoestbare klassieker ‘Ik ga dood aan jou’ een plekje in het collectieve Vlaamse muziekgeheugen veroverde, neemt het publiek mee op een muzikale ontdekkingstocht vol persoonlijke verhalen, sublieme composities, zijn bekendste hits, verborgen pareltjes en liedjes die zijn carrière richting gaven. Samen met zijn uitgebreide liveband zorgt Bart Herman voor een avond vol herkenning, nostalgie en klasse. Dit alles gebracht met de charme, humor en het vakmanschap die de woordkunstenaar al een halve eeuw typeren.

“Eigenlijk zou deze show ’67 jaar muziek’ moeten heten, want dat is mijn leeftijd en ik ben letterlijk in de emmer met muzikale toverdrank gevallen”, zo zegt Bart Herman. “Mijn overgrootvader, grootvader en vader waren/zijn allemaal muzikanten, dus zingen en muziek maken werd er letterlijk met de paplepel ingegoten. 1976 was evenwel het jaar waarin ik voor de eerste keer als zanger/gitarist voor een livepubliek stond, mijn eerste echte optreden dus. Met twee vrienden-muzikanten hadden we zelf een namiddag georganiseerd in zaal De Pluim in Kalken, Oost-Vlaanderen. Tot onze grote verbazing zat de zaal bomvol. Dit optreden werd het begin van een lange reis, zeg maar zoektocht, binnen het muzikale landschap, om dan uiteindelijk te belanden waar ik nu sta."
"Dit verhaal wil ik op 17 oktober 2026 delen met mijn publiek. Aan de hand van zelfgeschreven liedjes en songs die mijn carrière richting hebben gegeven, vertel ik mijn levensverhaal: van mijn geboorte tot nu. Wie de volledige Bart Herman wil leren kennen, zal in de Koningin Elisabethzaal niet op zijn honger blijven zitten. In 1993 leerde Vlaanderen mij dan wel kennen als Nederlandstalige zanger, maar daar gaat een periode aan vooraf die minstens even boeiend is , wees maar zeker!”, besluit Bart enthousiast.
Sinds zijn eerste optreden in 1976 bouwde Bart Herman een indrukwekkend en veelzijdig repertoire uit. Hij brak in 1993 definitief door bij het grote publiek met zijn iconische hit ‘Ik ga dood aan jou’. Andere bekende nummers als ‘Slaap mijn kind’, ‘Ogen van lood’, ‘Gele Rozen’, ‘Bartje (is een leuke naam)’ en ‘Als je weer wakker wordt’ maakten van hem een vaste waarde in de Nederlandstalige muziek.
Maar Bart Herman is veel meer dan alleen een vertolker van zijn eigen werk. Achter de schermen bewees hij zich ook als begenadigd tekstschrijver en componist voor tal van andere Vlaamse artiesten. Zo schreef hij liedjes voor onder meer Will Tura, Willy Sommers, Bart Kaëll, Luc Steeno, Jo Vally, Dana Winner, Lisa Del Bo, Barbara Dex, Sergio, Liliane St-Pierre, Nicole en Hugo etc. Tevens vertaalde of bewerkte hij op vraag van collega’s tal van buitenlandse hits uit het Engels, Duits, Spaans, Italiaans en Frans naar het Nederlands. Zijn stempel op de Vlaamse muziekwereld is daarmee zowel voor als achter de microfoon onmiskenbaar.
Tijdens het feestelijke jubileumconcert ’50 jaar muziek’ nemen Bart Herman en zijn uitgebreide liveband het publiek mee op een muzikale ontdekkingstocht doorheen het leven van Bart: vol persoonlijke verhalen, pakkende melodieën en verrassende wendingen. Een unieke kans om de soundtrack van meerdere generaties live te beleven in één van de mooiste concertzalen van het land.

On 28th November 2025, Fire Records will release Long March Through the Jazz Age, the last recorded work by Chris Bailey and The Saints, coinciding closely with what would have been Bailey’s 69th birthday. It’s a moving farewell - a testament to a restless, uncompromising artist who always moved forward, one of rock’s great lyricists and iconoclasts. Recorded in late 2018 at Church Street Studios in Sydney, Bailey and longtime Saints drummer Pete Wilkinson flew in from Europe to reunite with guitarist/engineer Sean Carey, who had previously toured and recorded with the band. They were joined by Davey Lane (You Am I) on guitar, plus a handpicked ensemble of Sydney’s most exciting young horn, string and keyboard players.

From Bailey’s rough demos, Long March Through the Jazz Age grew into a deeply human snapshot of modern times.
Out now, lead single Empires (Sometimes We Fall) is the album’s anthemic opener, cast on a bedrock of western guitars punctuated by Bailey’s aching lyrics: “Sometimes we rise, sometimes we fall”. It’s the perfect set up for an album that swaggers with Bailey’s inherent punk spirit while flowing freely in a spacious production.
A 12-string adds harmony and warmth to the string-laden Judas, a glorious melancholic piece, Gasoline smacks of the Stones country honking for Exile On Main Street, while Bruises is a candid recollection of how this celebrated troubadour got to where he did.
There are moments of Dylan-esque majesty as chiming guitars and strings widen the panoramic scale, while the title track carries a haunting, poetic intensity, its mournful trumpet break as spine-tingling as anything you'll hear. And throughout this Long March Through the Jazz Age, Chris Bailey’s distinctive vocal carries the storyline. Pete Wilkinson remembers it vividly: “When it came to recording vocals, Chris Bailey saved the best until last. His lyrical prowess is well known to those familiar with The Saints, new and old, but these recordings offer a new-found depth and breadth to his voice that surpass anything I had heard before.” Sean Carey added, “Chris was a true artist, it was like watching someone paint a fresh artwork every single day. This collection of songs and recordings were inspired and felt different to anything else I'd been doing.” Long March Through the Jazz Age, arrives in November and marks the end of Chris Bailey and The Saints’ remarkable journey - over four decades of music making and rule defying.

Britse muzikant David Ball (66) overleden: muzikale brein achter Soft Cell, bekend van wereldhit 'Tainted love'
De Britse muzikant Dave Ball is op 66-jarige leeftijd overleden. Samen met zanger Marc Almond vormde hij de succesvolle synthpopband Soft Cell. De band scoorde in 1981 een wereldhit met een cover van 'Tainted love' van Gloria Jones.
De voorbije zomer werkte hij met Marc Almond aan een nieuw album van Soft Cell. 'Danceteria' wordt volgend jaar uitgebracht.
"Hij was gefocust en zo blij met het nieuwe album dat we letterlijk pas enkele dagen geleden hebben afgewerkt. Het is zo triest. 2026 zou een fantastisch jaar worden", reageert Marc Almond op het overlijden.
