PISS, the evocative, noisy, genre-bending 4-piece punk band from Vancouver, B.C. are announcing today that they have signed to Sub Pop for the world and in Canada with Paper Bag Records. Ahead of the new material we are all eagerly awaiting, PISS has scheduled international headlining and festival dates spanning the spring, summer, and Autumn of 2026, beginning Saturday, May 2nd, in Liverpool, UK, at Sound City Festival and running through Thursday, November 5th, in Reykjavik, at Iceland Airwaves.

Highlights of this announcement include headlining shows in Glasgow, London (Sold Out), Manchester, and Paris in May, as well as appearances at festivals like The Great Escape, London Calling, Pickathon, End of the Road, and Brighton Psych Festival.

Post-Trash says of the band, “PISS are a lightning bolt. The Vancouver-based punk band’s debut three demos blurs the lines between hardcore, art-rock, and experimental poetry. PISS hits with the same onslaught of being thunderstruck.” DIY offers this, “The group combine their music with spoken word poetry, visual art, and experimental performance, putting on a show that blurs the lines between wildly complex interpersonal and political themes, with a beautifully human feel to it.” Meanwhile, Exclaim says, "More than any other local hardcore band today, PISS place crucial emphasis on words, those of both singer and poet-at-heart Taylor Zantingh's and, through audio samples, feminist activist Andrea Dworkin's (ever committed to accessibility, the quartet also includes captions in its videos). PISS combines music, poetry, sound collage, performance art, and various mediums of visual art to address complex themes that blur the line between personal and political. Powered by a combination of thoughtful musicianship, energetic live performances, and a crystal-clear vision of a safer underground community, PISS writes punk music that aims to
transcend the limitations of a well-established genre by pulling inspiration from a wide range of unexpected influences: literary giants, philosophers, filmmakers, painters, psychoanalysts, activists, children, members of a German anarcho-feminist militant group, and audience members from their shows, to name a few. These voices represent varying ideological beliefs about gender-based violence and enable PISS to create art that depicts challenging and controversial issues such as sexual violence and enculturated gender norms without reduction, romanticization, polemics, or dogmatism.

PISS comprises poet and teacher Taylor Zantingh on vocals, filmmaker Tyler Paterson on guitar, Gavin Moya on bass, and Garreth Roberts on drums.

Indie rock titans and eight-time GRAMMY nominees Death Cab for Cutie – Benjamin Gibbard, Nicholas Harmer, Jason McGerr, Dave Depper and Zac Rae – recently announced their 11th studio album. I Built You A Tower, will be released on June 5 via ANTI- Records, and today the band shares the second single off of the forthcoming record. “Punching The Flowers,” out now, and is a gnarled angular rock song in which Gibbard spins a real-life experience of a toddler throwing a tantrum literally punching flowers outside a bodega into a metaphor for a man who has something beautiful and sees its hold over him as a cage, a frustration.

"’Punching the Flowers’ is a song about stagnation and the feeling of being imprisoned by The Known. And about the damage done when someone ventures deeper into the unknown,” explains Gibbard.

I Built You A Tower, out this Summer, marks the band’s return to their independent roots after 20 years on Atlantic Records. Produced and engineered by John Congleton and assembled from a mere three weeks of sessions, the album as recorded at Animal Rites in Los Angeles, as well as the band members’ homes in Seattle, Bellingham, Los Angeles and Portland.

In recent years, Death Cab celebrated several historic milestones, including massive sold-out tours celebrating the 20th anniversaries of seminal releases Transatlanticism and Plans. Those tours were pivotal to the creation of I Built You A Tower, as behind the scenes, Gibbard weathered the greatest pressure of his professional life — fronting both Death Cab and the Postal Service on arena stages for hours a night — while struggling with the collapse of his personal life in the background. The strain felt too much for one person to bear, and the “tower” originated as a way to protect himself. “There’s this need to find a place in ourselves to put loss and grief,” he explains. “A place that can hold it so we can move on with our lives. But there are these moments where the trauma breaks out of that shell we created for it.”

I Built You A Tower is an album of reconciling with past selves in order to locate a new future. “The anniversary tours exorcised any nostalgia in our systems,” Depper observes. “We felt part of this powerful force greater than all of us and went into the studio with a sense of, how can we capture that feeling and put it into something new?” Harmer continues, “The whole experience of this record got us back to the earliest versions of this band: If the musicians in the room like what we’re working on, that’s enough. We reconnected with the confidence that comes with that.” As such, this is not the dreaded “return to form” narrative, but a reclamation of a core ethos that has run through Death Cab’s 30-year history.

The band will be touring across Europe and the UK this September and October, with support from Pool Kids. hese performances come on the heels of a historic, sold-out global tour in marking the 20th anniversary of Transatlanticism plus their universally acclaimed 10th studio effort, 2022’s Asphalt Meadows.

Orange Warsaw Festival 2026 is coming! 29 – 30 May 2026 – Names

Dominic Fike joins the headliners of Orange Warsaw Festival 2026 with his first announced European show this year! May 29, Orange Stage! Completing the festival's 2026 line-up are Blood Orange, Loyle Carner, bbno$, Alessi Rose, Ganna, Sarah Julia, and a strong representation of the Polish scene: Pezet, Jan-rapowanie, Sokół, Kaz Bałagane, Kasia Lins, Livka and Daniel Godson.

Orange Warsaw Festival 2026 will take place on May 29-30 at Służewiec Race Track in Warsaw, Poland. Previously announced artists include Olivia Dean, Lewis Capaldi, FKA twigs, and TV Girl.

DOMINIC FIKE
Dominic Fine moves effortlessly between mellow, beach vibe that suddenly shoots into Frank Ocean-style emotional brokenness. His deeply human 2020 debut „What Could Possibly Go Wrong" (2020) and 2023 album „Sunburn" (2023) established him as an international phenomenon. His two most recent releases, „14 Minutes" (2024) and „Rocket" (2025), along with his role in „Euphoria", have taken his popularity to a whole new level - also breathing new life into earlier tracks like the viral „Babydoll". Part of Fike's charm is that his current success still seems unreal to him, as he continues to explore this brave new world of global fame. Dominic Fike will perform on Orange Stage on May 29 - his first anounced European concert this year!

BLOOD ORANGE
Dev Hynes has had a monumental decade and his influence continues to reverberate throughout culture. As Blood Orange, the English musician, singer, and producer has released five albums to date - from the debut "Coastal Grooves" (2011), through the breakthrough "Cupid Deluxe" (2013) and "Freetown Sound" (2016), the acclaimed "Negro Swan" (2018), to last year's "Essex Honey", with appearances from the likes of Caroline Polachek, Lorde, Daniel Caesar, Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Ben Watt of Everything but the Girl, and Zadie Smith. Throughout his career, Hynes has also collaborated with icons such as FKA twigs, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, Solange, and Sky Ferreira. In 2022, he opened 15 shows at Madison Square Garden for Harry Styles, and directed Styles' Grammy performance of "Watermelon Sugar". He has spent the last three years selling out shows, scoring films and fashion shows. Blood Orange is playing on Orange Stage, May 30.

LOYLE CARNER
Loyle Carner is one the most important British artists of his generation. A musician, writer, director, producer, and actor, Loyle first emerged with 2013's „A Little Late" EP, and has since forged a signature blend of unflinching, diaristic lyricism with ambitious, genre-disruptive sounds. His debut album, „Yesterday's Gone" (2017), untangled personal experiences of grief, and the pressures of coming-of-age. The 2019 follow-up, „Not Waving, but Drowning", further showcased Loyle's ability to set lithe rap against old-soul wisdom. Having been twice shortlisted for the Mercury Prize - and scored further BRIT and NME Award nominations - Carner has since cultivated an impassioned worldwide following. His third album, „hugo" was a taut, textured exploration of Black identity and anger, which also landed Loyle Carner his second UK Top 3 album. Achter de artiestennaam Blanco White gaat de Londense folk songwriter Josh Edwards schuil.
