Sixteen years ago, a young Erasmus student called Aylin Feizula missed her plane to go surfing and ended up at one of our The Subs concerts in Porto (Portugal) instead. She was in the crowd, I was on stage, and when she came backstage that night, it just... clicked. We kissed in this old theater turned into a rave, surrounded by props and chaos, and that was it. This song needed to exist because it's about how one random moment can become your entire life — and sometimes, an entire band's. That girl in the crowd is now the lead singer of The Subs, singing this exact song.
