“Somos Como Tu” is de catchy single van het nieuwe album “OurHome” (release 18 september), en bevat - als eerste Rod y Gab-track ooit - vocalen!

Volgend jaar doet het duo tijdens hun wereldtournee de Benelux aan voor twee concerten:
13-4 - AB – Brussel
14-4 - Paradiso – Amsterdam

Rodrigo y Gabriela’s nieuwe album “OurHome” is opgenomen in Japan met behulp van gevestigde namen uit de muzikale scene van Tokyo (o.a. gitarist Marty Friedman en pianiste Hiromi Uehara). Als nieuwe single verschijnt nu “Somos Como Tu” die als eerste Rod y Gab-track ooit vocalen bevat; ‘the first song in the duo’s catalog to feature lyrics, veering between Sanchez’s soulful vocals and Quintero’s rapid-fire cadence. With its title translating to “We Are Like You”, the joyfully rowdy anthem muses on migration, displacement and shared humanity, amplifying its communal spirit with effusive hand percussion and ecstatic gang vocals’.
