Second single from the album "Köln Variations", set for release on November 6, “Page Blanche” is a weightless ballad in the vein of Keith Jarrett’s "Köln Concert", released 50 years ago. Here, Edouard Ferlet takes the time to unfold a melody of cottony beauty over a carpet of ostinato played by a second, computer-controlled piano. In an almost ambient jazz / neoclassical spirit, “Page Blanche” reveals a more contemplative side of the upcoming album.

With his exciting and ambitious new album "Köln Variations" to be released on November 6, 2026 (Digital/CD/Vinyl - Label Mélisse // Distribution Believe / Diggers Factory), Édouard Ferlet invites us to rediscover Keith Jarrett’s legendary Köln Concert, recorded in January 1975. Accompanied by his PIANOÏD system, he explores Jarrett’s improvised passages, extracting themes that he then develops in his own unique way. An unprecedented connection between improvisation and learning thus emerges, through an artificial intelligence software specifically designed for improvisation, developed in collaboration with Sony CSL.
